Eating a well-balanced diet is the key to maintaining a healthy weight and preventing chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and even certain cancers. Unfortunately, many people eat more sugar, carbohydrates and fatty foods than they should, and fewer fruits and vegetables than they need. Come learn some of the basics that perhaps you have forgotten or maybe you were never taught.
We offer these classes in a relaxed group setting and the topics will change up from time to time. These classes will give you the tools you need to make healthy choices at home, in social events, and even when eating out. The classes are open to all ages and genders but occasionally, we will offer classes specifically geared toward teens.
